PROJECT HOPE is an organization dedicated to inspiring hope during the traumatic event of a child's unexpected or long-term hospitalization.

They provide support and encouragement to families during this stressful time.  They believe parents and guardians must take care of themselves physically, emotionally and spiritually in order to meet the overwhelming needs of their hospitalized children.

Needed items are collected by the St. Peter's Reformed Church MOPS group.  Volunteers assemble the baskets for Project Hope.  Representatives of the group then deliver them to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.  The volunteer office at Children's Hospital then identify families with immediate needs and distribute donated items as needs arise.  Project Hope has a goal of distributing at least 40 baskets per month!

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”- Galatians 6:9
